SPCP Community Traces Back its Roots in Dumaguete

In celebration of the 115th years of the Sisters of St. Paul of Chartres in the Philippines and in preparation for the Diamond foundation year of SPC Paranaque (SPCP), the SPCP community traced back its roots in Dumaguete for their annual institutional outing with a theme: Intensifying Paulinian Solidarity: One Mission, One Dream, One Team.

Four Sisters and sixty employees participated in the Lakbay-Aral at Dasal institutional outing on June 4-7, 2019. The group was able to visit the islands of Dumaguete and Siquijor with a side trip in Simala, Cebu. They also paid tribute to the first SPC Sisters who started the mission in the Philippines through a short prayer service on the SPC marker along the boulevard in Dumaguete.

This annual institutional outing continues to deepen the Paulinian values and strengthen harmonious camaraderie and fellowship among the SPCP employees and with the Sisters.
