On July 5, 2019, His Excellency Archbishop Gabriele Giordano Caccia, DD, Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines, opened the Academic Year as Main Celebrant and Homilist of the school’s traditional “Holy Spirit Mass.”
A “Youth Encounter” with the Paulinians was also organized in celebration of the Year of the Youth where the students raised the questions and concerns of the youth today.
In his closing message, the Nuncio urged the congregation to, “Be Happy! Feel well, think well and do well like Jesus did.”
Members of SPCP academic community (SPCP-SPC Sisters, students, parents, teachers, staff and personnel), Sr. Maria Eden Orlino, missionary to USA and Sr. Maria Dee Lacson to United Kingdom, a Paulinian and former Chief Justice, Teresita Leonardo-De Castro, Alumni president, Mrs. Teresita Jose were in attendance. After the mass, the Nuncio had a photo opportunity with all those who were present.
His Excellency was accompanied by the two SPC Sisters assigned in the Apostolic Nunciature: Sr. Emily Bucot,SPC, former Principal of SPCP and Sr. Melleniza Gases, SPC.
